Hmm it's been a while. Got a tumblr last week thanks to Zambis::: http://wwwmsh.tumblr.com/

Not really sure what to do with this blog like keep updating or x-post or delete it or w/e? I might just leave it here and drop shit every now and then, it's still nice to have a peaceful corner of the internet for all this =m=

1.) Quickie for Anya who is super talented and has drawn a million mshs for me afhhh. 2.) Lei Leis...no leg room or scanner. Will probably paint it up+legs. 3.) yea.

My favorite way to sketch right now is with 0.5 Uni-ball Colored Lead and then going over it with pencil (ie. Lei Leis above).

I prefer them over Col-Erase pencils because...0.5 lead. Also better than red/blue Pentel lead because it ERASES/is softer; from my experience Pentel ones are kind of waxy, hard to erase, and break easily (though the Uni-ball ones aren't the sturdiest, depends on your drawing habits). Anyway it's far from an educated/experienced recommendation, just my fav atm, kind of pricey but also ~*colors*~*~.

Moved to Boston recently and found out that my favorite enigma, Rick Berry, has a studio there and hosts open figure sessions in it on Mondays ahh. Basically you go there and the models are amazing and you're surrounded by all his work, full size, real life, and he is there painting in the background or also participating*m**

Also while I'm at it, Rick Berry and Damon Lehr have a gallery opening called IT FIGURES, Sept 9 at the William Scott Gallery. If you're in the Boston area def check it out!

Alala aka the cutest char ever made in the history of worlds. commission for bowqueen ZAMBI. i went with her & Momos & their friend Ajas to Eat Real last month, you can read zambi's blog entry about it!! looking at it again makes me want to eat more real than ever :QQ everything was SO GOOD.

(top right.) some dismembered foot in a glass case at UC Berkeley Art Museum. i went there to see their Hauntology exhibit.

(middle.) a praying mantis my stepbro found in a box, so we caught and fed spiders/katydids/earwigs to it for a few days. it was ttly Ⓞヮ Ⓞ/UGUUU~ the entire time.

(bottom.) one of my chars in dragonquest ix, which i was halfway solo through before i realized we could...make additional team members. butts. anyway. that face option is one of my favs plus her outfit was cute so i had to draw her even if she's totally useless and dies every battle!

for hammy, her characters ping and lily :) sad how many ink blotches were attempted for the first pic's bg until i got something half decent /sobbh but it's supposed to be like...an alleyway bg thing. i realized later it looks like a mountain or...anything..b/c most of it got cropped.

since i busted out the india ink for ping pic, i decided to dick around with it some more...(1) warm ups. the only thing within my reach at the time was copper acrylic lol. so i was like HMM RED/WHITE CHARS YEAR SHADING W/ WATER THIS IS GR8. then (2) decided to not be lazy and got my watercolors. top is my NEOPET (i blame ROTTEL) bottom is some eyebrows dude from the same world as sagaie. he has sawed-off horns so that's what the black circle is.

slowww, but i'm waiting for approval to upload my other illus. next update will prob be an old-art post q q

For Jisuk's Broken Spell fairy tale card project. The deck isn't for sale yet but you can look at the other cards or the full artist:story list.
I did nine of diamonds; Koschei and Maria Morevna. This is a slightly higher res and un-cropped dA version, though the one on dA is more true to the final card.

Someone uploaded the concept art for Little Magician's Magic Adventure (think Animal Crossing + MAGIC)...I've played like 2 seconds of Animal Crossing and will probably never play LMMA but and it made me want to draw in that style anyway.
